Georgia High School Basketball - Jones County tipped by Southwest

December 28, 2024: Gray, GA 31032

The Southwest Patriots got by the host Jones County Greyhounds basketball squad by a final score of 71-66 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 outing, on Friday, January 3. Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Indians come into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 71-45 non-league win over Telfair County (McRae, GA).

The Greyhounds (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The War Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 14-0 record. In their last outing, Putnam County held off Thomson (Thomson, GA), 61-51, in a non-league outing.
