The Huntington Highlanders basketball squad (Huntington, WV), was nudged 55-52 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV)

With the victory, St. Albans advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Red Dragons host Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to meet the Big Reds in a Mountain State battle on Thursday, January 2. The Big Reds enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Parkersburg won 74-66 in their recent non-league battle against Unioto (Chillicothe, OH)

The Highlanders now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyoming East for a non-league battle on Monday, January 6.
