West Virginia High School Basketball - St. Albans knocks off Huntington

In Monday's league contest, the host St. Albans Red Dragons basketball team scored a good 36-28 win over the Huntington Highlanders.

The Red Dragons (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights come into the Mountain State contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Cabell Midland defeated Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH), 44-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Huntington will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Black Eagles come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 70-9 league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
