The McQueen Lancers basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Spanish Springs Cougars to 29 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lancers now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. McQueen will confront a Miners team coming off a 29-27 non-league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Miners record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Spanish Springs falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host North Valleys (Reno, NV) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 12-2. North Valleys lost 56-27 in their recent non-league game against Galena (Reno, NV)
