The Mescalero Apache Chiefs basketball team (Mescalero, NM), was nudged 39-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM)
The Cougars now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reserve for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5.
The Chiefs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Chaparral nudged Jefferson (El Paso, TX), 44-31, in a non-league contest.
