Connecticut High School Basketball - Goodwin Tech thwarts Abbott RVT

The Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT), 31-20 in Thursday's league test.
The Gladiators (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT). The Beavers go into the Connecticut Technical test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Cheney RVT went down by Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT), 38-11, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bullard-Havens for a Connecticut Technical test on Tuesday, January 3. Abbott RVT will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 50-12 league win over Prince RVT (Hartford, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
