Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) and the visiting Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), saw Abbott RVT's basketball squad knock off Goodwin Tech by a count of 43-33.

With the victory, Abbott RVT upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT) to play the Wildcats in a Connecticut Technical challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Wolcott RVT lost 50-24 in their recent league challenge against Platt RVT (Milford, CT)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Harvard Ellis Tech Eagles (Killingly, CT) in a Connecticut Technical challenge, on Friday, February 10. Goodwin Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 50-49 league win over Prince RVT (Hartford, CT).
