North Carolina High School Basketball - East Rowan nips South Rowan

December 29, 2022: China Grove, NC 28023

East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, East Rowan upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Carson lost 77-14 in their recent non-league bout against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
