The South San Antonio Bobcats basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Medina Valley Panthers to 41 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, January 2. South San Antonio will battle a Indians team coming off a 73-58 league win over Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Indians record now stands at 7-7.

The Panthers (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons come into the 5A Region IV District 28 contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Southwest prevailed over Winn (Eagle Pass, TX), 86-57, in a league contest.
