Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), 68-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Carson upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Damonte Ranch won 51-45 in their recent non-league bout against Churchill County (Fallon, NV)

Next up, the Raiders play the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a bout, on Thursday, January 4. Reed will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Senators come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV).
