In Friday's league outing, the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), by a margin of 52-17.

The Scotties (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, South Glens Falls was trounced by Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY), 62-60, in a non-league outing.

The Flying Horses now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Guilderland for a Section 2 Suburban outing on Friday, January 5. Troy will clash with a Flying Dutchmen squad coming off a 53-45 non-league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 3-7.
