Texas High School Basketball - Ector can't hold off Big Sandy

The Big Sandy Wildcats basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Ector Eagles to 32 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitewright for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Big Sandy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 36-32 league win over Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.

The Eagles (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Fannindel (Ladonia, TX). The Falcons come into the 1A Region III District 23 match with a 0-2 record.
