North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant tipped by Northwest Cabarrus

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Mount Pleasant Tigers to 56 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Rowan for a 3A Conference 48 contest on Tuesday, December 6. Northwest Cabarrus will meet a Falcons team coming off a 73-60 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Montgomery Central was nudged by Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 84-47, in a non-league contest.
