Wisconsin High School Basketball - Monona Grove can't hold off McFarland

The McFarland Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Monona Grove Silver Eagles to 61 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brodhead for a Rock Valley contest on Tuesday, December 6. McFarland will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 58-25 league win over Clinton (Clinton, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.
The Silver Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Horeb was nudged by Stoughton (Stoughton, WI), 63-52, in a non-league contest.
