McFarland Spartans (McFarland, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Monona Grove Silver Eagles (Monona, WI), 61-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McFarland upgrades its record to 25-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Union Grove (Union Grove, WI) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 25-2. Union Grove won 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Waukesha West (Waukesha, WI)
