Next, the Mustangs encounter the Sauquoit Valley Indians (Sauquoit, NY) in a Section 3 Center State III test, on Saturday, December 7. Mt. Markham will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 52-26 non-league loss to Dolgeville (Dolgeville, NY).

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Herkimer (Herkimer, NY). The Magicians come into the Section 3 Center State II test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Herkimer went down by Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY), 54-51, in a non-league test.
