Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), 41-26 in a league challenge.

The Oilers (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Mavericks come into the 6A Region III District 22 challenge with a 5-7 record.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Alvin will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 56-55 non-league win over Conroe (Conroe, TX).
