The Tellico Plains Bears basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting McMinn County Cherokees to 66 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Tellico Plains will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 54-50 non-league loss to Concord Christian (Knoxville, TN). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, McMinn County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cherokees travel to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a record of 3-3. Science Hill lost 60-44 in their recent non-league game against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN)
