Texas High School Basketball - Harlan tops Sotomayor

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX) and the host Sotomayor Wildcats (San Antonio, TX), saw Harlan's basketball squad knock off Sotomayor by a count of 73-58.

With the victory, Harlan upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Holmes (San Antonio, TX) to play the Huskies in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Holmes lost 53-51 in their recent league challenge against Jay (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Sotomayor will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 62-57 league win over Stevens (San Antonio, TX).
