In Thursday's league match, the host Harlan Hawks basketball team scored a good 70-61 triumph over the Sotomayor WILDCATS.

In their next game, the Hawks meet the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 match, on Saturday, February 4. Harlan will attempt to move on its 16-10 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 13-14 record after their 77-53 league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX).
