North Carolina High School Basketball - Northampton County can't hold off KIPP Pride

The KIPP Pride Pride basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Northampton County Jaguars to 79 in the Pride non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pride now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Halifax for a 1A Conference 9 contest on Friday, January 6.

The Jaguars (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans enter the 1A Conference 9 contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Southeast Halifax was nudged by North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC), 74-65, in a non-league contest.
