Georgia High School Basketball - Lincoln County can't hold off McCormick

The McCormick Chiefs basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Lincoln County Red Devils to 47 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chiefs now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixie for a A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 6.

The Red Devils (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Hephzibah was nudged by Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC), 60-49, in a non-league contest.
