California High School Basketball - Bishop's knocked off by Coronado

The Coronado Islanders basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Bishop's Knights to 63 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Islanders now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Point Loma for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Coronado will battle a Pointers team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Pointers record now stands at 9-5.

The Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The Eagles enter the Freelance contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Maranatha Christian was defeated by Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA), 63-47, in a non-league contest.
