The Bulldogs now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hiwassee Dam for a 1A Smoky Mountain battle on Thursday, January 4. Murphy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 95-66 non-league loss to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.

The Yellowjackets (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights come into the 1A Smoky Mountain battle with a 7-2 record.
