The Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) basketball knocked off the host Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY), 80-61 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Little Irish (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Nichols (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Nichols went down by Lancaster (Lancaster, NY), 63-53, in a non-league test.
The Red Raiders now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Haverling for a Section 5 Livingston County I test on Wednesday, January 3. Hornell will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 38-31 non-league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, NY). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
