Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY), 90-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aquinas Institute upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Little Irish host Young Women's College Prep (Rochester, NY) to play the Griffins in a Section 5 Private Parochial bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Hornell will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 43-31 league win over Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY).
