Texas High School Basketball - Coldspring-Oakhurst holds off Shepherd

The Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Shepherd Pirates to 43 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Navasota for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Coldspring-Oakhurst will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 55-32 non-league win over Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Shepherd falls to 15-10 on the campaign. The Pirates host Liberty (Liberty, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 4A Region III District 19 game on Friday, January 3. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 10-13. Liberty lost 72-50 in their recent non-league game against West Fork (Kingwood, TX)
