The Shepherd Pirates were victorious over the host Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 55-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Pirates face the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 10. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 3-4 record after their 66-14 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, TX).
