In Saturday's league outing, the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 78-45.
The Owls (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region IV District 27 outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, Burbank was trounced by Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX), 84-41, in a league outing.
The Voks now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host MacArthur for a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Lanier will clash with a Brahmas squad coming off a 71-33 league loss to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-19.
