New York High School Basketball - Academy of the Holy Names edges Mohonasen

The Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY), 70-68 in Saturday's league test.
The (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Crusaders go into the Section 2 Colonial test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Catholic Central got by Columbia (East Greenbush, NY), 57-53, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Voorheesville for a Section 2 Colonial test on Tuesday, January 3. Mohonasen will encounter a Blackbirds squad coming off a 52-36 league win over Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY). The Blackbirds record now stands at 2-3.
