In Friday's league outing, the Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY) basketball squad beat the host Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY), by a margin of 59-44.

The (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Riders go into the Section 2 Colonial outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Ichabod Crane was topped by Catholic Central (Troy, NY), 52-44, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Albany Academy for Girls for a Section 2 Colonial outing on Tuesday, February 7. Mohonasen will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 80-62 non-league loss to Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY). The Bears record now stands at 18-1.
