Texas High School Basketball - New Braunfels toppled by Alamo Heights

Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 62-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Alamo Heights upgrades its record to 19-4 on the year. The Mules host Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to face the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, January 3. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a record of 17-6. Wagner won 72-56 in their recent league match against Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX)

The Unicorns now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne for a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, January 3. New Braunfels will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 45-42 league win over Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 15-6.
