Texas High School Basketball - City View holds off Bowie

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting City View Mustangs basketball team scored a close 47-43 triumph over the Bowie Jackrabbits.

The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX). The Hawks go into the 3A Region I District 7 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Iowa Park was tipped by Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX), 52-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jackrabbits confront the Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX) in a 3A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, January 3. Bowie will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 52-45 league loss to Henrietta (Henrietta, TX).
