The Miller Buccaneers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Carroll Tigers to 60 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 29 game on Thursday, January 2. Miller will confront a Eagles team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Jordan (Fulshear, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 23-0.

With the loss, Carroll falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ray (Corpus Christi, TX) to confront the Texans in a 5A Region IV District 29 game on Thursday, January 2. The Texans go into the game with a record of 17-7. Ray won 90-30 in their recent league game against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX)
