Texas High School Basketball - Highland Park overwhelms Turner

The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 98 points and limited the visiting Turner Lions to 55 in the Scots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scots now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host The Colony for a 5A Region II District 12 game on Friday, January 3. Highland Park will confront a Cougars team coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Turner falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to confront the Rangers in a 5A Region II District 12 game on Friday, January 3. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 14-8. Lone Star lost 67-65 in their recent non-league game against Lawton (Lawton, OK)
