Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA), 62-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valwood upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Valiants travel to Echols County (Statenville, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Echols County lost 71-41 in their recent non-league bout against Highland Christian Academy (Valdosta, GA)

Next up, the EAGLES clash with the Baker County Bears (Newton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Highland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 44-29 non-league loss to Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA).
