Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL), 43-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Thorsby upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Jemison (Jemison, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Jemison lost 53-20 in their recent non-league bout against Chilton County (Clanton, AL)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Isabella Mustangs (Maplesville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Maplesville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
