Alabama High School Basketball - Wellborn trounced by Munford

In Monday's non-league match, the host Munford Lions basketball team scored a big 61-30 win over the Wellborn Panthers.
The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL). The Volunteers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Central of Clay County was trounced by Handley (Roanoke, AL), 45-39, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a 3A Area 11 test on Tuesday, December 5. Wellborn will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-49 non-league win over Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
