In Monday's non-league outing, the Mt. Olive Wildcats (Mt. Olive, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), by a margin of 49-45.
The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southwestern (Piasa, IL). The Piasa Birds go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Southwestern held off Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL), 39-26, in a non-league outing.
The Lancers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly for a MSM outing on Thursday, December 7. Lincolnwood will clash with a Vipers team coming off a 53-24 league loss to South Fork (Kincaid, IL). The Vipers record now stands at 3-5.
