Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 63-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monticello upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Stuarts Draft won 53-17 in their recent non-league test against Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA)

The Little Giants now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. Waynesboro will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-0.
