The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) and the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), observed Wilkes Central's basketball team overwhelm Hibriten by a score of 70-42.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Bandys trounced Patton (Morganton, NC), 89-56, in a non-league challenge.
