The West Stanly Colts basketball team (Oakboro, NC), was toppled 79-62 in Monday's non-league battle with the host North Stanly Comets (New London, NC)

The Comets now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robinson for a 1A/2A Conference 35 battle on Friday, December 9. North Stanly will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 80-44 non-league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

The Colts (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, South Stanly was toppled by Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC), 50-37, in a non-league battle.
