First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Taylor Wildcats (Pierson, FL), 34-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, First Academy upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Altamonte Christian (Altamonte Springs, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Altamonte Christian lost 45-13 in their recent non-league bout against Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders (Bunnell, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 66-20 non-league loss to Umatilla (Umatilla, FL).
