Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), 69-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kankakee upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Kays host Thornwood (South Holland, IL) to play the Thunderbirds in a Southland bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Thornwood won 56-27 in their recent league bout against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL)
