Georgia High School Basketball - Pierce County thwarted by Charlton County

The Pierce County Bears basketball team (Blackshear, GA), was toppled 43-33 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA)

The Indians now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appling County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Charlton County will confront a Pirates team coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-4.

The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Bacon County beat Berrien (Nashville, GA), 73-58, in a non-league battle.
