Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA), 86-84 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lanier Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lightning host Killian Hill Christian (Lilburn, GA) to play the Cougars in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 2A bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Killian Hill Christian lost 71-64 in their recent non-league bout against Old Suwanee Christian (Buford, GA)

Next up, the Saints play the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders (McDonough, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 71-57 league win over Hills Academy (Conyers, GA).
