The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) basketball knocked off the host Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA), 62-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lightning (16-12) will now prepare for their test against Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 17-9 record. In their last test, Creekside Christian Academy notched a victory over Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA), 80-41, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 13-14 record.
