The Atkins Red Devils basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs to 24 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Devils now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayflower for a 3A Region 5 contest on Friday, December 8. Atkins will battle a Eagles team coming off a 56-48 league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
The Mustangs (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Maumelle Charter (Maumelle, AR). The Falcons enter the 3A Region 5 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Maumelle Charter was routed by Dover (Dover, AR), 64-32, in a league contest.
