The Luverne Tigers basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Central Lions to 14 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8.
The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Holtville (Deatsville, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Holtville triumphed over Notasulga (Notasulga, AL), 45-20, in a non-league contest.
