The Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) basketball felled the visiting Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI), 50-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Redbirds (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Bulldogs go into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Boscobel thwarted Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI), 64-51, in a league test.

The Chieftains now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test on Friday, December 8. Riverdale will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 78-37 league loss to Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
